Article Research

After thoughrally researching the band 'Troubadour' i come across a story from the wirral globe about the band. The story said...

'WIRRAL band Troubaour set their sights on fundraising next week - with a two-set gig in aid of Wirral charity, Stick'n'Step.
Stick'n'Step, based in Corporation Road, Birkenhead. Troubadour features vocalist Bradley Briercliffe, Nathan White on keyboard, bass guitarist Russell Holden, Dale Galer on acoustic guitar and Andrew Robinson on drums. The group, which is influenced by the Doves, Gomez and Coldplay, completed their first eight-track demo earlier this year.
The band is rapidly climbing the ladder of success, with three large gigs in London and Manchester. They are also in talks with the organisers of this year's Wirral Country Park Eden Festival.'

I will be interviewing ex band mate Dale Galer who plays guitar.

The band also appeared in a magazine from on of the bars where they used to play.

This young five piece from wirral are attracting attention after there debut gig at the Zanzibar, barfly, Roadhouse Manchester and the picket. Bringing over 100 supporters to each venue. The band completed there demo this year and have just launched there new website.

I also found this bad review from when the band played a gig at The Barfly Liverpool " I was much looking forward to hearing five-piece band Troubadour, who I've been meaning to see for some time. It was disappointing to learn then that they were just another scally band with Stone Roses/Oasis influences. Their vocalist had that kind of arrogant Ian Brown look about him.

They played well enough but fell into the typical over confidence trap that Liverpool musicians seem prone to. A controversial thing to say considering your reviewer is a native. Promised that a gig with Troubadour would be an experience in itself, it was for all the wrong reasons."
